Dr. McDougall and Dr. Wagner spent 2 weeks in November 2009 in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia on a Third World Eye Care Society project. 4,500 patients were seen and over 5000 eyeglasses were dispensed by the team of 22 TWECS volunteers.

The Canada Line is now up and running. After more than 3 years of construction, it is now easier than ever to take transit to the clinic. The City Centre station is right across the street from the Vancouver Block building. Remember than you can also easily walk to the clinic from the Granville station on the Expo Line. Dr. Wagner joined up with the Hands Across Borders Society to help distribute the donated contents of a 40' shipping container to the villagers of Jambiani, Tanzania. The month-long project took place February 2009.

In November 2007, Dr. Wagner and Myra were in Vietnam to do a volunteer eyecare project with Third World Eye Care Society. Our team of 22 optometrists and staff saw over 3800 patients and gave out over 4500 pairs of your donated eyeglases in Quy Nhon and Tuy Hoa.
